Warning:Commercial Hardware tools and the eSDK are available only for approved partners

Before launching a product with Spotify Connect, all devices need to get certified by Spotify and each partner needs a signed distribution agreement with Spotify.

Please do the following:

1. Test and submit a certification using Spotify’s self-testing certification tool Certomato.

2. Send Spotify two test devices. Deliver two launch-ready test devices or model variants incorporating the Spotify Connect integration, at no charge to Spotify, including all fees associated with shipment for certification, such as duties and taxes:

  • Ensure that the setup and firmware update procedures for the device are platform-agnostic.
  • Please provide your company phone number to ensure you can be contacted directly if anything happens during shipping.

3. Get certification approval from Spotify.

4. Sign the distribution agreement and get confirmation from Spotify (see distribution section).
